Kellie Martin, an American actor and actress on television and film. She is best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston on the historical drama series "Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Kellie Martin is best known for her performance as a protagonist on the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and the kindergarten teacher. She began acting at seven years old when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's family, offered to help Martin find a role as a guest star on the TV show Father Murphy. Her professional career began following her graduation from Yale University. This led to her landing a variety of roles both in the television and film industry. Martin has also been an artist and photographer. Since she is a mother of two kids, she's been named the national spokesperson for Lupus. She has also actively promoted Lupus since the time her sister's death in the age of 19.
