Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. She hosts the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature spiky blonde hair and a bubbly personality, reveals simple methods to master and removes intimidation of restaurants dishes on her TV show Secrets of a Restaurant. Burrell is a chef who has been in the kitchen for a long time. Burrell is also a veteran of New York City's best restaurants. She also has learned about Italy's food traditions and the culture of Italy, as well as the landscape. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step for her when she earned the Bachelor of Arts in English as well as Communications at Canisius College Buffalo NY. She states "I was a huge Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I enjoyed every moment." It was impossible to take enough enjoyment from it. After graduating, Burrell spent one year in Italy studying in the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and working in the Umbrian restaurant La Taverna del Lupo as and Tuscany's La Bottega del 30, a Michelin-starred restaurant. In Italy, Chef Burrell gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian culinary traditions. It made a huge influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that brightens children living with challenges. She is also an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador, where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. Burrell travels extensively across the country in her role as both a mentor and guest speaker where she discusses her work and passion for cooking. Anne said she felt lucky in that she could share her true passion with others.
